Catering Our Own House Parties
My husband and I host a ton of parties at our house. We both have huge families so holidays are always a big affair, and we often have our friends over for special occasions and get-togethers. We used to hire caterers to take care of all the party details but after hosting so many events, we figured out how we could do it ourselves. We found a company that sells discounted supplies for catering, so we bought a bunch of equipment that we could use over and over again, like serving dishes and such. We order the food we need from a restaurant or grocery store, and usually hire a couple waitresses to come and serve the food. My husband and I are more than capable to get everything prepared and it saves us money doing it ourselves. When you host parties as much as we do, it can become pretty expensive if you don’t figure out ways to keep costs down!
